Hey Koalas!
For the month of June (most of it anyhow), we will be holding a recycling drive!
The money earned from the drive will be used to host a divisional pizza party!

As all of you may now, global warming is a huge problem in our world today. Every day, thousands and thousands of new bottles (aluminum and glass) are manufactured for commercial use.
As responsible members of our community, we must make an effort to recycle as much as we can!
Here are some fun facts about recycling:
-Recycling cans saves 1.7 million pounds from ending up in land fills.
-Every 3 seconds, a baby is born. In that time, 140 cans were born.
-The energy saved each year from recycling could be used to light Washington, DC for 3.7 years
-Recycling aluminum creates 97% less water pollution that producing new metal from ore
-Recycling just one aluminum can could save you enough electricity to run your TV for 6 Jimmy Neutron Episodes.

Please help make a difference by recycling!
Contact your club president to work out where to store all collected cans!
ALSO:
We are giving hours for people who recycle :D
5 plastic bottles - 1 hour
5 aluminum cans - 2 hours
Please put recyclables in Ms. Golzy's room (C 108) and contact our Vice President, Adrienne Salvador informing her that you recycled in order to gain hours.
Thank You and your effort is appreciated :D

Well... it's been fun updating this site. Since the beginning of this administration, we've gone through 3 different websites. Even then, this website is still under construction. It's been my pleasure of informing you of events and stuff for the past 2 years. Starting tomorrow, I will effectively depart from my post of tech chair to the next administration. Until then... Stay classy, Key Club ; ' (
